Dr. Alex Huang holds the Dula D. Cockrell Centennial Chair in Engineering in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin.
Dr. Huang is a world renowned expert of power semiconductor devices and power electronics and has published more than 400 papers in journals and conferences. Dr. Huang is also widely credited for his original contribution in developing the Energy Internet concept and the Solid State Transformer based Energy Router technology. He has graduated more than 70 Ph.D. students and master students. He is currently active in the following research areas and welcome inquiries by perspective research students and postdoctoral researchers.
